Science Olympiad Donation

April 01, 2021

Sperry Family Gives Mrs. Hulet and Science Olympiad Teams $1,000 Supplies Donation!

Mrs. Hulet is pleased to say, “The Junior High and High School Science Olympiad Team would like to thank Dustin and Krystyna Sperry for their family’s extremely generous donation to our two teams for current and future event supply purchases. Because Science Olympiad activities are often highly specialized and usually equivalent to being several grade levels ahead of the depth of knowledge of regular classroom work for a typical student of that age, it has not always been financially feasible for us to justifiable certain purchases while working within a limited budget. With this donation however, our teams will now have funding secured to buy all those needed materials, and to become even more competitive going forward in the process with the years to come. Both teams will compete in our virtual state competition Saturday, April 10, 2021, and are very excited to be doing so. This is the first time in our school history that both the junior high and the high school teams have progressed to state as whole teams together, and we want to acknowledge that we would not be here without the support of our district’s parents, staff, administration, and community members. This donation will not be wasted, and both teams are incredibly grateful to have it! Thank you again to Dustin and Krystyna Sperry!!!”

From Dustin and Kystyna Sperry, “We are just so incredibly proud of each of these kids. The time and hard work they put in shouldn’t go unnoticed. Mrs. Hulet is a one of a kind teacher and pushes these kids to be the absolute best they can be. She spends endless hours helping each one of them to be successful in all they do. Thank you, Mrs. Hulet, for everything you do and will continue to do in the years to come. Congratulations Panthers!”
