Building and Remodeling Project Has Begun
New addition construction site.
Lowered ceilings in classrooms and new LED lighting.
New lights and lowered ceilings contribute to school's ergonomics.
Ceilings in the classrooms are lowered and fluorescent lights have been replaced with LED throughout the district (high school, elementary school, gymnasium, cafeteria domes and vocational building). Dirtwork has been completed and footings have been poured for the new addition which will host administrative offices, library, art room, and band room. This will allow for much needed additional classroom space in the present domes.
Overseeing the contracting work is McKinstry firm from Des Moines. Herner Construction of St. Joseph was awarded the building project.
