The Junior High Scholar Bowl team defeated Worth County at Grant City on Monday, Feb. 3. The score was Pattonsburg 170, Worth County 80.
High scorers were Gage Iddings with 60 and Kierra deJong and Katelyn Jones with 10 each. Mac Warner also played. The team picked up 90 bonus points, as compared to Worth County's 40 from bonuses. Mr. Hartley said, "It was a very good start for the season!
The final meet of the Junior High season will be at home with Albany on Monday, Feb. 10. The team is hoping for a victory or two over Albany, who defeated the Panthers both times they played last year.
